Here ya go:

Now I’ll tell you, the poo sure hit the propeller a couple years back when John Rosevear made this effort:

The Real Reason Behind Ford’s Move Into Bike-Sharing – Why would an auto giant want to start an urban bike-sharing business? Here’s a hint: It’s not about the bikes.

The upshot was that a local alphabet soup govt employee contacted Alta Bike Share / Motivate / Motivate International (it’s all the same outfit to me, you know, labor violations, labor investigations, and false claims of paying “living wages,” and one bankruptcy that I know of, etc.) to promote the idea that a former Ford Motor Company CEO misspoke in the above. Now IDK why it’s the job of govt workers to go about making excuses for Trump appointee-type ppl, but at least one email to this effect was revealed by an area reporter last year, go figure.

Anywho, that’s your background as to why we don’t have the GPS working on our short-term rental bikes. But what we do have is this language that you’ll see if you want to rent a bicycle:

Does that make sense? Here’s the context:

What on Gaia’s Green Earth is this language doing in a required agreement for bike rental? I know not.

(Oh what’s that, you love love love bikes so so so much that you’d make any agreement to get more “butts in saddles?” Well, obviously. That’s my point, that this deal was negotiated, on our behalf, poorly. What’s that, you don’t even use FordPass? Well, fine, but then what’s this language doing in a mandatory bike rental contract? Does Citibank CitiBike aspire to spy on you like this over in New Yawk? No, not at all. What’s that, you turn off your GPS when not GoBiking? Well, fine, but then what’s this language doing in a bike rental contract, I’ll ask again.)

And now, it’s the Chevy’s turn:

NETSCOUT FIELD TESTING, it says:

Circling around and around the Financh on a lazy Sunday…

Anyway, IDK what’s going on here. (Like, I lack the engineering background to even hazard a guess at the purpose of these devices what have been added to this SUV, presumably in Michigan.)

In contusion, IDK which group of ppl, the Ford or the Chevy group, is a-tracking you more…
